Business Development Representative at hc1 | Powderkeg

** We are looking for a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until the deal is transitioned to the sales team. You will also provide support to the sales team as they work to advance and close the deal. As an AWS Partner Network organization, our cloud-based software organizes live data (including lab results, genomics, and medications) to deliver solutions that ensure the right patient gets the right test and the right prescription.

What you’ll do:

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to sales leadership on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Complete other demand generation duties as assigned

What you bring:

  • ‘Fearless’ attitude towards cold outreach
  • Obsessed with getting to the next step (qualified meetings)
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience in a customer facing role
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate with clients both on calls and in-person

The base salary for this role is $45,000 with an expected $20,000 in bonus with no cap.
