Would you like to drive the technology within the organisation as a key IT resource ? Are you passionate about delivering solutions to customers by identifiying and recommending continuous improvement suggestions in order to ensure that the direction of the product remains viable for the business?

If so, we have an opportunity to work as an IT business analyst at CEVA Logistics. You will be part of a growing business.

This role can be based in Houston, USA or Marseille, France.


  • You own the responsibility of ensuring the detailed requirements from the Product Owner are translated to user stories by working closely with the Solution Lead, the product teams, and the internal/external customers. Actively review progress during project stage gate reviews and provide input as needed.
  • You drive various activities during the implementation of new solutions as assigned.
  • You proactively work with the Product Owner and internal or external customers, to ensure the UAT (User Acceptance Test) is planned, staffed, and successfully executed.
  • You produce systems training materials as appropriate in compliance with CEVA standards. Provide systems training. Support post-launch activities as needed.
  • You actively provide continuous improvement recommendations for the application to Solutions Lead or other IT Management as appropriate to ensure the solution remains viable for CEVA's ever-changing business climate.
  • You provide mentoring and guidance to develop other team members, including training and knowledge transfer.


  • You have 3+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst within a software development team.
  • Proven experience performing as a technology analyst. You can anlyse data in multiple formats.
  • You have business acumen and solid knowledge of applications and implementing logistics technologies.
  • You have experience with Logistics applications such as CargoWise or other Freight Management applications.
  • You are knowledgable in Agile Methodology
  • You are able to perform technical analysis and produce effective business requirements documentation.
  • You have analytical skills enabling trouble-shooting on software.
  • You are self-motivated, self-managed. Ability to successfully multi-task and establish appropriate priorities.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent follow-up skills.
