VP of Business Development and Sales Operations at Cesium | Powderkeg

Cesium is in a unique position in the emerging ecosystem of 3D geospatial. We have fantastic relationships across the industry, and our ecosystem is growing rapidly. Our goal is to continue growing platform adoption and usage to drive sustainable and scalable revenue growth. We are looking for an experienced hands-on player/coach sales & business development leader.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the business development team to realize revenue targets (currently ~$10M annually) through self service SaaS, inbound and direct selling channels.
  • Create and communicate revenue targets and forecasts against those targets to the CEO and Leadership team; identify, track and report on key targets and opportunities.
  • Coordinate training and coach team members to succeed in our growing ecosystem.
  • Drive further development and effective use of the HubSpot CRM, including setting internal policies and establishing KPIs.
  • Build effective and authentic communications for value proposition in various marketplaces.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to align business activities with Cesium’s vision and strategy.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of technical software sales/business development experience with 5+ years of sales/business development team leadership experience
  • Experience with sales in SaaS, geospatial technology, 3D technology, or technical software
  • Experience leading and managing teams in an accelerated growth environment.
  • BS, MS, MBA, or equivalent proven work experience
