The Engineered Innovation Group is growing and looking for an Account Manager with experience in software as a service (SaaS) and consulting services.

What You Will Do

  • Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to drive customer satisfaction with ongoing projects, retention, and additional sales opportunities.
  • Generate leads and drive the sales pipeline to meet a baseline sales goal for the year, including both new and existing clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of a client's business needs to align the company's solutions to meet those needs.
  • Represent EIG's services, using industry knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how we can help create meaningful products.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in the sales cycle.
  • Implement effective account management processes and ensure a seamless customer experience. This includes monthly internal and external account meetings to ensure our clients' projects are on track, we're surfacing new opportunities, and addressing any concerns proactively with the client.
  • Work directly with the **Director of Growth **to identify internal and external process improvement implementations, revenue-generating opportunities with EIG ICPs, margin improvement strategies, and other duties as assigned.
  • Draft statements of work with input from discipline directors, Director of Growth, and VP of Operations to ensure we can transition from sales discussions to project delivery and be successful in meeting our client's expectations.
  • Candidate must be comfortable representing EIG in any number of customer-facing situations, including but not limited to trade shows, networking events, and others as identified
  • This is a remote position. However, some travel will be required for an annual all-company in-person meeting, occasional in-person client meetings for high-importance clients, or occasional industry events. We anticipate travel being three to 10 times per year.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of business development or similar experience
  • Has a robust network of existing relationships
  • Ability to effectively navigate objections and challenges
  • Previous enterprise-level account management experience
  • Experience in transactional sales
  • Experience with HubSpot is strongly preferred
