Role description:
We are looking for a Team Lead, Carrier Integrations, specifically at the top of funnel intake, to help optimize our global carrier network. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the team that analyses and defines a tactical approach on all incoming carrier integration requests and ensure the highest level of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be a leader, a salesperson, a carrier expert, a project manager, an integrations expert, and an efficient operator.&nbsp;
What you’ll be working on:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Leading the day-to-day operations of the Carrier Integration team, prioritizing work and optimizing resources</li>
<li>Drive carrier responsiveness and escalate where needed</li>
<li>Mentoring the Team Members and enabling continuous development and professional growth</li>
<li>Provide oversight and training to direct reports</li>
<li>Monitor direct report performance and report on metrics to Manager </li>
<li>Report on KPI’s and SLAs</li>
<li>Maintain cadence of one-on-ones with direct reports </li>
<li>Manager Intake compliance to ensure high quality data input </li>
<li>Define an integration strategy and complying to carrier specific processes </li>
<li>Engage with carriers as needed for resolution management </li>
<li>Collect all technical required information and documentation from carriers and prepare for integration </li>
<li>Drive customer satisfaction through high velocity and qualitative deliverables</li>
<li>Ensure that all customer inquiries and issues are solved correctly by the direct reports and in a prompt and professional manner </li>
<li>Create and Review all integration related processes and documentation for continuous improvement &nbsp;</li>
<li>Identification of potential improvements in processes that will increase work efficiency and improve internal controls</li>
<li>Building and maintaining good relationship with cross-functional teams, including Professional- / Managed Services and Customer Success, to align network operations with business objectives and customer needs &nbsp;Playing SME role in implementation of new product/features</li>
<li>Initiate to Integrate with global carriers and freight forwarders to expand the project44 carrier network</li>
</ul>
Requirements &amp; Preferred Skills&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>3+ years of proven people management and leadership skills</li>
<li>Ideally experience in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transportation operations, Carrier Relations, Carrier Procurement, and/or Systems Integrations&nbsp;</li>
<li>5+ years of experience: 
<ul>
<li>Logistics Operations, and/or </li>
<li>Carrier Onboarding / integrations, and/or </li>
<li>Carrier Procurement</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Experience in integrating technical systems (EDI/Flat file/API)  </li>
<li>Excellent communicator, both oral and written </li>
<li>Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills </li>
<li>Skilled at de-escalation</li>
<li>Ability to proactively identify and communicate risks and opportunities</li>
<li>Passion for carrier/customer satisfaction and operational excellence</li>
<li>Ability to manage workload, delegate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment </li>
<li>Excellent English verbal and written communication skills</li>
