About the team

Angi is looking for an Office Associate for our Indianapolis HQ office. Your primary responsibilities will be office administrative and facilities tasks, including welcoming guests and visitors to the business, processing and distribution of regular and specialized mail and/or packages, stocking break rooms, and lunch oversight. This is a full-time, hourly position requiring employees to report into the Indianapolis office Monday through Friday. In this role, you'll have training & mentorship to learn about our business and the opportunity for career progression and growth.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks throughout the work day, however common duties and responsibilities of our Office Associate include:

  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to individuals or departments, via hand delivery, mail, or scan/email
  • Sign for registered or certified mail
  • Prepare outgoing mail and packages (e.g. applying appropriate stamps, verifying addresses, creating shipping labels)
  • Correct and redirect misaddressed items
  • Greet visitors and guests; determine the purpose of each person's visit and direct or escort them to the appropriate location
  • Manage the front desk; ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Oversee and set up office-wide lunch delivery and distribution including coordinating with vendors, helping with daily lunch set up, monitoring and clean up
  • Provide vendor and office feedback to Engagement team
  • Communicate and liaison with employees and executives on various office-related tasks
  • Maintain stock in break rooms with paper goods and coffee supplies
  • Perform other office-related tasks as needed

Who You Are

  • Previous administrative or office experience highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. computers, scanners and printers)
  • Exhibits a professional attitude with all guests and employees
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Full time availability - 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday

Compensation & Benefits

  • The pay rate for this position ranges from $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living
