Position: Delivery Manager

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview: The Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of data engineering and analytical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, driving project execution, and fostering a culture of standardization and best practices in data architecture and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data engineering projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Manage all aspects of complex, cross-functional projects including planning, organizing, scheduling, controlling, and monitoring.
• Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with client executives and engagement sponsors.
• Drive the development and maintenance of data architecture strategies and roadmaps.
• Oversee the design and implementation of data models, schemas, and structures for data warehouse solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data governance principles and promote a culture of data quality and integrity.
• Support the development of proposals and execution strategies for new projects and initiatives.
• Proactively identify potential delivery issues and drive resolution to avoid customer impact.
• Govern multiple projects/customers, serving as the escalation point for delivery issues.
• Provide solutions for new customer requirements and suggest transformation themes to improve processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in the data engineering domain, with a proven track record in project delivery and team management.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and Big Data solutions involving structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with Big Data design patterns of DataLake and DeltaLake, and implementation using HDFS and ecosystem tools like Hive/HBase, Spark with Scala & Python.
• Technical project management experience in Datawarehouse, Big Data, and Cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience in data mining and the development of ETL processes using key classical BI tools.
• Understanding of cloud implementation for large Datawarehouse programs.
• Familiarity with DEVOPS tool-chain implementation.
• Domain expertise in Healthcare & Life Science.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment and manage scope changes effectively.
• Solid project management experience, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving delivery issues.
• Experience in conducting training workshops for DWH planning and execution.
• Well-versed with various delivery models (Onsite Offshore, Global Delivery Model, Dedicated and Shared services, Global Command Centre).
