  • Proactively and accurately manage heavy calendars (which includes internal and external meetings)
  • Triage and reply to emails, Lattice tasks/Google comments and Slack channels as needed
  • Plan and execute team meetings, events and offsites; including the coordination of agendas and materials, budgets, logistics, hospitality and more
  • Book travel and process expenses timely; exercise good judgment and adhere our travel and expense policy
  • Approve expenses, travel and time off requests for your executive’s direct reports
  • Maintain a pulse on the sentiment of the organization serving as a liaison between your executive and their team

The Team You'll Work With

We are looking for an Executive Assistant (‘EA’) to join our EA team and support our Chief Strategy Officer and their organization. This person will report to an EA Manager and work closely with our EA team, the BizOps & Strategy team, and the broader leadership team at Carta.

Carta’s EA team is small and wears many hats. We work both autonomously for our executives - scheduling, meeting prep, travel, expenses and projects - but also collaborate as a team on broader projects such as events, offsites, hiring, training and best practices. We sit in offices across New York, Sandy and San Francisco.

About You

You are a roll-up-your-sleeves, “get in the weeds,” individual that has experience supporting multiple senior leaders in a fast paced startup environment. You are incredibly detail oriented , **** thoughtful and proactive. You can block and tackle for your executive and navigate ambiguity. You know how to find common ground with leadership and peers alike to build relationships. You are professional and eager to learn.

  • 3+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting a senior leadership role
  • Heavy calendar management and travel experience
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize on a daily basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

At Carta, you’re not just an employee. You’re a builder who is creating infrastructure that accelerates innovation and empowers more ownership. Cartans are helpful, relentless, unconventional and kind; representing Carta’s Identity Traits. They work collaboratively and cross functionally to challenge the status quo; working towards a common goal of creating more owners in the private markets.

We are hiring for multiple levels and locations, so final offers may vary from the amounts listed based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors.

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: $110,500 - $130,000 in San Francisco.

Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
