What You’ll Do

As we continue our business momentum and global expansion, we are seeking an exceptional RVP, West Region to further develop, lead and grow our Brand Direct & Agency Sales efforts. The ideal candidate is a highly engaging, intelligent and solution-oriented revenue leader with a deep-rooted network and thorough understanding of today’s digital media and ad tech ecosystems. Successful candidates possess world-class leadership qualities and proven track records of leading and growing successful sales teams in the region with complex sales cycles.   • Lead large-scale brand relationships with senior-level decision-makers, focused on identifying strategic opportunities for value-creation, partnership development, and revenue growth
  • Design and implement data-driven, strategic revenue strategies to expand Brand Direct, Agency and Programmatic Revenue; further reinforce DV’s reputation as a trusted leader in brand safety, verification, performance and measurement solutions
  • Lead, develop and mentor a seasoned, high performing sales team through active coaching, performance management, goal setting and recruitment
  • Actively initiate relationships with DV client prospects in region to promote long-lasting, strategic client partnerships and accelerated revenue growth
  • Establish relationships with existing DV clients to ensure continuity of ongoing partnership; includes working directly w/ account management teams to ensure flawless market expansion, execution and client satisfaction
  • Provide effective Salesforce Pipeline Management + New Business Forecasting + Client Target Prioritization to drive sustained market impact
  • Provides accurate revenue reporting and strategic updates to the Americas management team, including presentation of revenue and forecasting reports
  • Partner w/cross-functional internal support teams as appropriate to ensure flawless deal-design (i.e. contracts) and execution
  • Demonstrates agile, proactive problem-solving skill-sets
  • Drives a fun, inclusive, positive and collaborative culture across the broader West region, and actively participates as a key member of the Americas Commercial leadership team
  • Partner with internal client support teams to ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Attend industry events and speak as a representative of DoubleVerify to the larger digital marketing industry
  • Develop and support DV commercial strategies across all client engagements, ensuring clear and consistent market messaging across all customer touch-points
  • Drive high-impact thought leadership, reinforcing DV’s reputation as an innovator and trusted leader in ad verification, brand safety & performance solutions in the industry
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting insight and visibility

Who You Are

  • Work Location: Los Angeles, CA
  • 12+ Years’ experience in Digital Media / Ad Tech / CTV Sales etc.
  • Proven business leader with deep industry expertise and significant experience selling media, data, technology and/or software solutions into multiple stakeholders at large brands and agencies
  • Proven track record of successfully managing, mentoring and growing sales teams to meet and exceed sales goals with a diverse pipeline
  • Process-oriented and disciplined, highly adept at working with sales teams to drive the sales process from planning to close, and through complex and varying sales cycles
  • Deep and established network at leading Digital + Media Agencies and Brand Marketers, including Media, Strategy, Operations, Analytics, Social, Video etc.
  • Highly engaging, effective and persuasive communicator, with an innate ability to present complex subject matter into easily digestible content for client consumption throughout various levels and functions within an organization
  • You are consistently one of the top sellers (Top 5%) in your sales organization, and have a stellar reputation and proven track record as being one of the industry’s best
  • You are highly curious and intelligent, constantly enhancing your industry knowledge and competitive insight to help you close big business and generate significant revenue
  • You are the ultimate team player (humble & passionate) and have proven experience working cross functionally and collaboratively across internal teams to build business and sales activity
  • You are an exceptional communicator and confident presenter across all real and virtual formats

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$175,000-300,000]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
