Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven bootcamps instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner to learners across India, and real world experience in their domain. The instructor will need to have subject matter expertise in at least one of three technical domains: Web Development, Computer Science, or Data Science.

• Web Development includes languages and frameworks like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, React, and Node.js, and concepts like web design, deployment, and hosting

• Computer Science includes languages like Python, C++, and Java and concepts like DSA (data structures and algorithms)

• Data Science includes languages like SQL, R, and Python, and concepts like machine learning, data visualization, and statistical significance

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Deliver live interactive sessions (every week) to a diverse group of learners
• Content Development: Collaborate with our curriculum team to develop compelling course materials, lesson plans, and projects
• Student Engagement: Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and engagement
• Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance through assignments and projects, providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning
• Technical Support: Assist students with technical challenges and troubleshoot coding issues during sessions

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the domain of choice. Deep understanding of real-world projects and workflows is important.
• B2C Teaching Experience: Prior experience in teaching or training roles – in a B2C format - is highly desirable
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners
  • Strong drive to work in unstructured and fast-paced environments
  • High levels of ownership
