We are seeking a Regional Vice President, Provider Contracting to join our
team. You will be responsible for overseeing and driving provider contracting
efforts within a designated region. You will play a pivotal role in developing
strategic partnerships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the financial
success of our business units in the region.
How you will make an impact
- Regional Oversight: Lead and manage all provider contracting activities within your assigned region, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional strategies.
- Contract Negotiation: Oversee the entire contract negotiation process, from initial outreach to final agreement, securing favorable terms and conditions.
- Provider Network Development: Develop and implement strategies to expand and strengthen our provider network within the region.
- Financial Performance: Drive revenue growth and ensure the attainment of financial targets for your region.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of provider contracting professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with providers, payers, and internal stakeholders within the region.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes within your region.
What we are looking for
- Advanced degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in provider contracting, with a proven track record of success in negotiating complex deals.
- Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, payment models, and regulatory environments within the West Coast, Midwest, or Southeast regions.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading and managing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with providers, payers, and internal stakeholders.
