Position Overview
DV is looking for a Team Lead, Product Management who comes from a highly
technical background, has excellent verbal and communication skills, and is
able to autonomously prioritize and make decisions that have implications on
DV products.
In this position, you will lead the future development of DV’s Ad Measurement
technologies, collaborating with engineering, architects, business
stakeholders, industry partners, and other product managers to align on
product requirements and successfully develop and launch new capabilities.
What will you do
- Lead and mentor a team of 3 product managers. Enable them to successfully define, plan and execute product roadmaps and initiatives.
- Lead key initiatives yourself from concept ideation to release: perform research, develop requirements, define action plan, and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate internally with other product & engineering teams to break down complex systems and processes so they can be easily understood and simplified.
- Assess and address technical risks alongside engineering to ensure the long-term success of the product and the team’s ability to deliver results.
- Gain a deep understanding of the digital ad delivery workflows and channels through which we measure. Become subject-matter expert on the data signals we collect, data pipelines, calculations, algorithms, and related technical systems.
- Identify areas where we can intelligently combine big data and machine learning within the Ad Measurement product.
Who you are
- 5+ years of product management experience with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and a track record of shipping software on time.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Experience with data analysis using tools like Python or SQL, and influencing decisions through large data sets.
- Experience managing the development and release of products in a fast-paced but coordinated manner.
- Curiosity, courage, and persistence to dive into an established but technically challenging domain.
- Organized with rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and positive attitude.
Nice to have
- B.A. /B.S. or equivalent/higher level of education in Computer Science or a related technical field is strongly preferred
- AdTech/MarTech or related areas with a strong understanding of the online advertising industry, ad tech platforms, and relevant metrics preferred
- Passion and desire to play a key role in driving transparency and quality in advertising performance
