<p>As a part of the Office of the CEO, your job will be to support and streamline the operations of Carta’s CEO. This includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>Build trusted business partnerships with Carta’s CEO, their internal stakeholders&nbsp; and other key Cartans across the business</li>
<li>Understand how Carta operates and its core products and offerings. Know who is responsible for what, which teams are in which office, and what their various priorities are to inform CEO’s schedule and travel calendar</li>
<li>Proactively and accurately manage heavy calendars (which includes internal and external meetings) while proactively resolving conflicts. Become the central point of contact for managing CEO’s logistics for key external events and conferences.</li>
<li>Introduce operational efficiencies for key aspects of CEO operations, including how the Office manages tasks, prepares for meetings, and transmits information to the rest of the organization</li>
<li>Develop and manage a system for the CEO to efficiently triage and respond to emails and Slack messages while also overseeing inbox management, handling email replies, and ensuring timely follow-ups when needed</li>
<li>Manage all aspects of expenses and travel, including visa requirements, detailed itineraries, bookings, and timely expense processing—exercising good judgment and ensuring adherence to company travel and expense policies</li>
<li>Collaborate on strategic priorities within the Office of the CEO and with the Chief of Staff to ensure company priorities are met</li>

<h2><strong>The Team You'll Work With</strong></h2>
<p>We are looking for an Executive&nbsp; Assistant&nbsp; to support Carta’s CEO and Founder and work within the Office of the CEO.&nbsp; This person will report to Carta’s Chief of Staff and work closely with our CEO, the office of the CEO team, EA team, and&nbsp; the broader leadership team at Carta.</p>

<p>You are a roll-up-your-sleeves, “get in the weeds,” individual that has experience supporting and building strong relationships with executive leaders&nbsp; in a fast paced startup environment. You are incredibly detail oriented, a problem solver and have excellent judgment. You know how to find common ground with leadership and peers alike to build relationships. You are professional, discrete&nbsp; and eager to learn.</p>
<p>We believe you’ll be successful in this role if you:</p>

<li>Have<strong> 5+ years</strong> of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment</li>
<li>Are an independent problem solver with a proactive and adaptable mindset</li>
<li>Have exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail</li>
<li>Possess strong communication skills, adapting messaging for different internal and external audiences</li>
<li>Demonstrate professionalism and discretion, balancing confidentiality with transparency</li>
<li>Have experience managing complex travel and event logistics (including international travel, visas, and itineraries)</li>
<li>Are flexible and available to travel with the CEO&nbsp;</li>
<li>Are comfortable working under pressure while juggling multiple deadlines, last minute requests, and competing priorities</li>
<li>Have worked closely with executives in a fast-growing company and understand the demands of a scaling business</li>
<li>Work effectively both independently and collaboratively, taking initiative when needed</li>

<h2><strong>Salary</strong></h2>
<p>Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary) range for this role is:&nbsp; $131,750 - $178,000 in&nbsp; San Francisco. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors</p>

## **Salary**
