The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in evaluating new business opportunities and ways to help Pattern and its partners grow. They help create financial forecasts and provide data to support decisions for business stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, potential acquisition, new products, and growth initiatives by developing financial projection models
  • Develop detailed financial forecasts of three financial statements, incorporating key financial and operational metrics
  • Prepare sensitivity analysis impact on revenue, expenses and profitability by modeling changes in key variables
  • Decision support for business stakeholders through financial and operational ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Prepare and distribute financial analysis and reporting packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
  • Retail and ecommerce industry experience at a global organization
  • Experience as administrator or super-user of planning software (e.g., cloud-based NetSuite PBCS, Adaptive, OneStream)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to work cross functionally
  • Experience modeling 3 financial statements
  • Experience modeling short-term cash flow and aligning to Statement of Cash Flow
  • Capability of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of how to work with large amounts of data to develop scalable financial reporting solutions
  • Exceptional Excel, VBA, MS Office, Google Sheets skills
