The Internal Tools team at Anduril provides rapid development of software and data tools to meet the ever shift landscape of the business. We work closely with many different departments internally(Finance, Ops, IT, Engineering) to deliver the solutions they require at the speed necessary for success. Some examples of the types of solution we provide: Helping the engineering orgs break down knowledge silos with knowledge management apps, enabling Tech Ops deployment tracking in remote locations with offline mobile capabilities, streamlining the manufacturing process with specialized UX, giving leadership detailed insights into the organization with our automated data warehouse.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, your role is to provide maintenance and support of existing infrastructure while also building out new infrastructure as solutions are developed. It’s expected you will work closely with stakeholders directly to ensure their needs are meet and coordinate with InfoSec to make sure everything is up to security standards. Another key facet of this role to create and manage build and release pipelines for custom applications so that software engineers do not have to manually deploy into production.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure platform
• Work closely with internal tools team to define infrastructure and deployment specs
• Monitor infrastructure for degradations or outages
• Plan for fault tolerance and disaster recovery
• Create tools for automating build and release processes
• Help conduct security audits with InfoSec team
• Work with 3rd party software vendors to setup infrastructure to their required specs
• Facilitate cost analysis reporting

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiar with infrastructure management and operations lifecycle management
• Knowledge of industry best practices with regard to information security
• Comfortable with scripting languages such as python
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Can use a Infrastructure as Code solution(Cloudformation/Terraform)
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years experience operating and maintaining production systems in a secure cloud environment(Azure, AWS, GC)
