Anduril is a defense technology company, bringing Silicon Valley talent and funding to the defense sector. Our technology helps our customers solve their toughest challenges by enabling them to make better, more informed decisions in life-and-death situations. We’ve assembled a diverse team of experts in artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensor fusion, optics, and data analysis that are creating software and hardware solutions to radically evolve the capabilities of the United States and our allies. If you are passionate about solving problems that have real impact, come join Anduril and build the future of defense.

Anduril’s Deployment Operations team is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to join our ground-based air defense program. As a member of the Mission Integration team, you will serve as a bridge between product engineering and deployed operations. The Mission Integration team works to ensure that Anduril’s growing suite of products achieve total mission success in austere, remote environments. To this end, you will be embedded within a product team where you will leverage your operations and engineering experience to shape and deploy a solution of maximum effectiveness and reliability. Your scope will vary between products but can include focus areas as disparate as: design for serviceability, reliability engineering, manufacturing at scale, root- cause analysis, software tooling and user-experience improvements, pre- deployment testing and configuration, authoring of work instructions and user training materials, and development of qualification test procedures. In addition, you will be a core participant in all customer demonstrations and early deployments of the product. The knowledge you gain in these deployments will inform your mission integration engineering efforts and allow you to instruct others on the deployment and operation of the product.

  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and external customers; demonstrated ability to collect differing opinions and reconcile them in order to achieve agreement on what ‘right’ looks like

  • Experience performing data-driven root cause analysis on complex systems
  • Demonstrated ability to train peers or customers on the operation of a product
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
