We are seeking a Senior Integrated Circuit Designer to develop our advanced readout integrated circuit (ROIC) products. We are interested in candidates who are excited to work in a multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers explore new ROIC concepts from design, test, hardware validation, and system integration. This position is for IC designers who are willing work in a dynamic environment where collaboration and hands-on testing are a way of life.


  • Design advanced readout integrated circuits with embedded computational logic
  • Develop new mixed-signal circuits for low power and low noise applications
  • Design supporting IC test hardware
  • Perform benchtop IC design test and validation
  • Support system integration


  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of IC design and relevant experience
  • Experience with IC schematic capture and layout
  • Experience with IC design verification (simulation, DRC, LVS, parasitic extraction)
  • Experience with HDL (Verilog or VHDL) coding and implementation
  • Experience developing technical drawings and documentation
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance


  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso
  • Experience with high-speed digital interfaces
  • Experience with optical or infrared systems
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in related discipline
