The Neuron team at Anduril develops aerial and ground-based robotic systems. The team is responsible for taking autonomous systems from paper sketches to operational deployment. We work in close coordination with integrated product teams like electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, flight navigation and control, manufacturing, and integration and test to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers. We are looking for software engineers and roboticists excited about creating powerful autonomous aircraft systems that include computer vision, signal processing, motion planning, flight controls, estimation, and secure communications.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Responsible for software development and integration across the full aircraft system, including deployment and quality assurance of software and firmware stack to new hardware builds during the manufacturing process
• Support integration and test team during ground checks and flight tests - requires up to 50% travel
• Contribute to the implementation of autopilot functionality, mission autonomy, and sensor integrations
• Create and analyze metrics that are leveraged for debugging and monitoring
• Maintain up to date data and metrics on the status and health of all program assets from initial build through flight test

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of programming experience in industry or academia
• 1+ year of C++ production coding experience
• 1+ year of programming for attached devices (motors, sensors, cameras, etc)
• Experience with Unix/Linux tools for performance analysis and debugging problems (gdb, ASAN, valgrind, perf, etc)
• Solid understanding of systems software (kernel, device drivers, system calls)
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
