Anduril acquired the Boston-based start-up, Dive Technologies, to build out
their maritime division and field the next generation of Autonomous Underwater
Vehicles (AUVs). Today, Anduril is executing on multi-million-dollar contracts
for the US Department of Defense while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-
Service (RaaS) commercial surveys. As our team continues to quickly grow, we
are looking for motivated candidates who are inspired to work within an

Anduril’s maritime group is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team
and work in a cutting-edge start-up environment to advance the state-of-the-

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work within a small team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV design and integration efforts
- Develop, test, and release code for a robotic vehicle controller and user interface programs
- Be involved in all stages of the vehicle product development/production cycle – driver and application creation, testing, release, and maintaining architecture design and iteration
- Software design and implementation of new sensor and functional capabilities into AUV
- Create software tools for engineering analysis of AUV performance and payload data
- Conduct hands-on, offshore AUV testing when required (typically single day trips with occasional multi-day deployments)
- Travel and offshore operations approximately 25% of the time
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in software or computer engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A passion for robotics development
- 2+ years experience in robotics, C++ software development, and integration and testing
- Familiarity with systems engineering, electrical engineering, and control algorithms
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
- 4-5 days in office required. *Please note this position is located in Quincy, MA
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with automated software testing and evaluation
- Experience operating robotic systems offshore
- Experience integrating subsea acoustic sensors
- Experience with development and debugging using C++ and ROS
- Exposure to UMAA, MOOS-IVP, and other existing autonomy solutions for AUVs
