About the Role:

AutoFi is looking for a passionate and driven Director of Information Security. You will work closely with internal and third-party Business groups providing Risk Management and supporting Audit. The successful candidate is one who loves working across many stakeholders, including internal and external customers, to design solutions for complex compliance challenges. You should be a technically experienced and innovative security, compliance, and audit professional who has the ability to understand IT processes, communicate clearly and transparently with customers, and to be able to drive innovative process changes through multiple organizations and teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop understanding of regulated industry compliance requirements and communicate how our control activities meet global regulatory obligations.

Liaise with customers, regulators and auditors, articulate control implementation, and describe considerations for applying security and compliance concepts to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the organization by being a trusted advisor, facilitator and creative problem solver.

Gain a deep understanding and knowledge of the assigned division’s IT SOX risks and controls

Critically assess the design of the controls and understand the underlying technology

Assist the control owners during walk-thrus and testing and help with any blocking issue of requests

Perform Service Organization Control (SOC 1,2 &3) reviews of significant financial and IT related services

Required Qualifications:

Advanced degree in related area of study (Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, IT Security Management).

Familiarity with cloud computing, technology risks, security and outsourcing.

Strong IT technical skills including application/database/cloud security

Recent technology experience or other fast paced environment is required

2-3 years of IT SOX audit experience including cloud risk and controls

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field

2-3 years of IT SOX audit experience including cloud risk and controls

CPA, CISA, CISSP or similar certification a plus

Prior Automotive or Fin Tech experience
