As the Director, Corporate FP&A you will lead the development of the central
FP&A processes and team responsible for the design, coordination and
consolidation of the total company financial planning and financial reporting
and insights.
You will be partnering with our CFO, Head of Strategic Finance, and the BU
finance and business leaders to report on business results and long term
planning. In addition, you will captain our financial planning systems
implementation and enhancements to enable scalable and standardized processes
to support key decision making.
Responsibilities
- Total Company Financial planning: You and the team will be the primary leaders for all financial planning. Design, build and manage end to end the quarterly forecasts and annual planning cycles, including to set total company targets
- Develop, lead and maintain the total company’s annual plan, rolling forecasts and long range plan processes
- Ensure financial planning best practices spread through the organization
- Develop and lead FP&A systems roadmap including implementation works with the support from Technology and external partners
- Establish and run our management reporting cadence: Design, build and maintain standardized and ad-hoc reporting for the consolidated monthly financial packages reviewed by the CFO and Senior Leadership team
- Lead and coordinate our monthly and quarterly reporting packages including managing the close with accounting and the BU finance teams to deliver the right insights to our leadership on our business performance
- Drive process standardization and automation, prioritizing improvements that increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting (design and maintain processes for accruals, reclassifications, allocations, chart of account reviews, etc.)
- Partner with Accounting, Tax, and other finance functions to provide input on management reporting needs and connect operations to tax impacts
- Sophisticated financial modeling: Conduct ad-hoc business case modeling for our CFO and leadership team including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
- Manage a team of finance professionals including day-to-day management & development, career development and coaching, and talent recruiting. Deliver team success through empowerment and accountability. Demonstrate leadership and inclusion best practices
Requirements
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Engineering
- A minimum of 15+ years in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance - Mandatory previous Corporate / Group FP&A experience
- Systems - strong knowledge of enterprise-level financial planning and accounting systems, including previous experience with planning/budgeting system implementation
- Proven management capabilities to attract, retain and develop talent
- Outstanding analytical and Excel skills - experienced building the ‘story’ behind the numbers
- Self-starter - take initiative, be dedicated, set and drive toward goals
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment, navigate ambiguity, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and provide clarity and structure
- Excellent communication and people skills
