Binance is looking for an experienced Financial controller to manage the finance matters in Philippines. This position will not just involve setting up the operations, accounting, financial control and policies but will also work closely to support the business.

The Financial Controller should have a high attention to detail, a strategic mindset for finance and a character of high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting books and prepare monthly reports to global finance and operations team
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, & annual financial consolidation statements in accordance with local accounting GAAP
• Work with compliance team to ensure the operation meet all regulatory report on EMI and VASP license requirement, including daily customer fund reconciliation, maintain minimum equity thresholds
• Work together with tax consultants to prepare and submit tax returns on time
• Review local contracts initiated by local office in particular on the payment terms
• Assess tax implication of the contracts
• Work with operation and compliance team to ensure the compliance of local rules and regulations
• Document & compile necessary reporting whilst liaising with external auditors
• Build & maintain banking relations

Requirements

• Good knowledge of local accounting standards and tax requirement
• More than 8 years of experience at relevant positions
• Familiar with local laws and regulations
• Have relevant experience on regulatory reporting for financial institutions
• Experienced and knowledgeable of accounting software, and management systems
• Certified Public Accountant is a plus
