Binance is looking for a Global Comms/PR Manager who is excited by the opportunity to play a role in defining the future of money.

This is a full-time remote position reporting to the VP of Global Media/Global Comms function and working closely with local teams and executives. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate and interested in cryptocurrency, innovation and financial technology with proven experience in PR/communications.

Responsibilities:

• Own global PR tactics including proactive media outreach, media interviews, announcements and securing speaking engagements and podcast opportunities for our company spokespeople
• Generate high impact thought leadership opportunities
• Create new PR campaigns and amplify existing campaigns
• Support global and local PR activities
• Establish and maintain relationships with global media outlets and journalists
• Proactive pitching, reactive handling and active media monitoring
• Analyzing and and reporting PR coverage and outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Public Relations experience, preferably in the crypto/payments/tech industries, either in-house or agency
• Expert knowledge of financial/crypto media landscape
• Proven media relations skills, solid copy-writing and editing skills
• A strategic thinker with the motivation and drive to own and execute initiatives
• Must be able to both work independently and collaborate with remote global marketing team members
• High levels of professionalism and emotional intelligence
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain-related terminologies and trends, and a strong interest in crypto culture are a plus
• Excellent project and time management skills; able to prioritize and work under pressure
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English speaker

Nice to have:

• Experience buying/trading bitcoin/crypto or understanding of Binance’s products and ecosystem
• Knowledge of AP Style
• Experience in journalism and media (writing articles, blogs, copywriting, social media/marketing)
