We are looking for an experienced professional to support our Senior Management team by providing strategic insights through industry research, creating and updating internal valuation models for various business units within Binance and, helping craft the strategic and business narrative around our company's near and mid-term outlook for external investors.

Responsibilities

• Build and update the valuation models for various business segments of Binance (Spot, Futures, NFT, etc.) using market comp data or other valuation tools such as DCF
• Support Senior Management in crafting high quality pitch-books to effectively communicate our strategic narrative, business outlook and investment thesis to external investors
• Perform independent Industry research and share strategic insights with Senior Management on trends in the global Crypto industry (such as Regulatory changes, M&A or VC activity), update market comps by tracking fund raises by competitors and keep abreast of macro trends by scanning industry research reports, news and other technical developments
• Track and publish performance on key KPIs for Binance vs competitors in the crypto industry

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in venture capital/M&A or Equity Research working in the startup/technology ecosystem with experience of working or in the Crypto ecosystem preferred
• Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including strong grasp of industry trends, themes, tokenomics, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of financial modeling and valuations using various techniques such as Market Comps, DCF, Sum of the Parts etc. with hands-on experience of using tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Techcrunch etc.
• This is a high visibility role and requires strong interpersonal skills for interacting with senior management of Finance/Business and Corporate Development teams
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and be a self starter who can drive projects independently under limited supervision ensuring high quality reports
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and project and time management skills
• Flexible with remote work across time zones

Minimum Qualifications:

• MBA/Masters in Finance, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline, CFA
• 3-5 years of VC/M&A experience (e.g. corp dev, due diligence) in financial services, and fintech, or crypto ecosystem
• Strong understanding of M&A skill set and financial modeling skills (developing pro forma financials, Market Comps, DCF modeling etc.)
• Hands-on experience of using tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Techcrunch etc
• Advanced user of MS Office tools/GSuite (Excel, Powerpoint), Keynote, Google docs
• Knowledge of BI tools for data visualization such as Power BI/Tableau
