Binance is looking for a PR Associate to join the European PR team. This is a full-time remote position. We are looking for candidates who are passionate and interested in cryptocurrency, innovation and financial technology with experience in PR/communications. This position offers an opportunity to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Support local regional PR activities including proactive media outreach, media interviews, announcements, award nominations, securing speaking engagements and podcast opportunities for our company spokespeople in Europe
• Working closely with regional marketing teams to support local announcements and liaising with external teams and business units for PR campaigns and announcements
• Contribute to new PR campaigns and amplify existing campaigns
• Support global and pan-European PR activities
• Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists in Europe
• Proactive pitching, reactive media handling and active media monitoring
• Monitoring media on a daily basis, reporting coverage and industry news to the wider team and assist in creation of daily and weekly progress reports

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in agency PR, corporate communications and/or journalism
• Interest and general knowledge of the cryptocurrency/blockchain industry
• Proven media and influencer relationship skills
• Strong interest in being able to drive foundational PR strategies, but also to bring new ideas and tactics to the table
• Experience using media monitoring tools (i.e. Cision) to create daily/weekly reports for organizational leadership
• Attention to detail with superior organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency or experience in Google Workspace applications (Google Docs and Sheets)
• Excellent project and time management skills; able to prioritize and work under pressure
• Native or fluent English speaker and writer
• Bachelor's degree or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience buying/trading bitcoin/crypto or understanding of Binance’s products and ecosystem
• Bilingual in a second language
• Knowledge of AP Style
• Experience in journalism and media (writing articles, blogs, copywriting, social media/marketing)
