Binance is looking for a UK PR Manager who is excited by the opportunity to play a role in defining the future of money. This is a full-time remote position reporting to the European PR Director and working closely with the local team. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate and interested in cryptocurrency, innovation and financial technology with proven experience in PR/communications. The UK media has significant global influence making this role vital in shaping Binance’s perception around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Developing a clear PR plan for the UK, laddering up into European and Global PR strategies
• Own local PR tactics including proactive media outreach, media interviews, announcements and securing speaking engagements and podcast opportunities for our company spokespeople
• Generate high impact thought leadership opportunities
• Create new PR campaigns and amplify existing campaigns
• Support global and pan-European PR activities
• Establish and maintain relationships with UK-based media outlets and journalists
• Proactive pitching, reactive handling and active media monitoringAnalysing and and reporting PR coverage and outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Public Relations experience, preferably in the crypto/payments/tech industries, either in-house or agency
• Expert knowledge of UK financial/crypto media landscape
• Proven media relations skills, solid copy-writing and editing skills
• A strategic thinker with the motivation and drive to own and execute initiatives
• Must be able to both work independently and collaborate with remote global marketing team members
• High levels of professionalism and emotional intelligence
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain-related terminologies and trends, and a strong interest in crypto culture are a plus
• Fluent English speaker
