We are looking to hire a locally based Senior Compliance Analyst, who is a specialist in operational compliance (KYC/Client Onboarding/AML Screening/Transaction Monitoring) and will help us support the growth and continued commitment to the highest standards of regulatory and financial crime compliance.

This person will work alongside the MLRO and our Legal and Compliance teams to ensure Binance has a strong regulatory framework from both the fiat and crypto sides of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain policies, procedures and processes in alignment with MLRO
  • Train and supervise teams in alignment with MLRO
  • Handle, review and verify all applications for client onboarding
  • Perform an effective 4-eye customer due diligence process
  • Monitoring and documentation of unusual activity or AML flags
  • Excellent proficiency in conducting risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews and enhanced due diligence
  • Proficiency in compliance applications and programmes
  • Good knowledge of national and international AML/CFT legislation
  • Contribute to further local company processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in compliance, risk, fraud, legal or regulatory function
  • Proven industry experience in finance and crypto industry
  • Proficient in English and German with clear and logical communication, further languages a further bonus
  • Degree in Law/Finance/Management or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Knowledgeable of Austrian and European AML legislation, virtual currency regulations, and other relevant regulation
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced organization maintaining close contact with relevant teams
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to provide useful and efficient counsel
  • Excellent communication, negotiation & management skills
