We’re seeking a creative-minded video editor/motion designer to join our social media team full time, a skilful storyteller who can turn complex ideas into highly engaging and shareable content through their sense of pacing, design typography, and data visualization.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled video editor that can create content cross- platform. The right person for this position would be able to work with content creators and execute tasks as given but also come up with creative content and add value to the social media team and contribute towards video content across platforms.

This is a full time remote position, can be based in any locations globally.

Responsibilities:

• Work with video creators on the social team to edit and/or create videos for cross-platform usage (primary focus)
• Research, conceptualize and produce videos on a wide range of crypto-related topics working with the global social team
• Produce high quality, engaging, original content that can be used cross-platform
• Have an understanding of the technicalities of live streaming on platforms like YouTube
• Help improve video content across teams
• Produce videos efficiently employing various elements, including video assets, photo assets, logos, typography, data viz, animations, etc.
• Source archival content, stock video, imagery, music, voice-over and sound effects
• Analyze social media landscape to supply actionable insight (in real-time) to both the social and greater marketing team with hot topics, breaking news, sentiment/market observations
• Experiment with different versions of an edit, exploring multiple directions if needed
• Awareness of what competitors are doing in video and staying one step ahead
• Think Social-First and have the creativity to multiply content 5x that will be posted across various Social Media platforms (Memes, Gifs, TikTok Videos, Instagram Stories, etc.)
• Have fun

Requirements:

• 2 -3+ years of experience in Video Editing and Motion Design
• Proficient in using Adobe Suite, especially After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a 1-2 day turnaround time on finished pieces
• Experience in finding and collecting relevant archival footage and other material to be incorporated into edits
• Proactive attitude in problem solving and suggestions, able to implement feedback with ease and on time
• Experienced in producing polished, professional video edits and motion graphics work, carried from concept to completion, largely independently
• Knowledge of the blockchain/crypto space is a plus but not necessary. However, a hunger to learn as much as possible about the ever-evolving crypto world is a must
• Stop-motion, painting, music, and nearly any other creative skill is a plus
• Experience working on a remote team preferred
• Bonus points if you are a content creator and not shy in front of the camera
