Blue Bottle is looking for a talented individual who will play a critical role in helping to launch and drive growth in our DTC e-commerce business in Korea. You’ll help craft the strategy for our DTC business, work with the global engineering and E-commerce team to build a best-in-class digital site experience. You will rigorously analyze performance data, manage financial KPIs and continuously work to optimize the digital guest experience.
We’re looking for an aspiring professional who’s highly analytical. You are comfortable playing a product manager role, and can build compelling business cases with your findings. You have both an eye for design and an appreciation for strong branding. You are driven by performance, progress, and achievement against big goals; you care deeply about the customer journey and experience; and you’re uniquely motivated by getting Blue Bottle’s freshly roasted, responsibly sourced, peak-deliciousness coffee (and tumblers and drippers!) into more and more homes.
This is a salaried position based in our Seoul office, reporting to our Head of E-commerce & CPG in Korea with a dotted line to our Global Head of E-commerce in the US.
You will
- Lead the launch of BlueBottleCoffee.com/KR (BBCK DTC) on our ‘Global Ecommerce Platform’
- Partner with Global Engineering and Product teams to define and execute the end to end guest experience
- Lead vendor selection & vetting process (fulfillment, shipping, customer service, digital marketing, etc.) for the BBCK DTC site
- Support and manage the BBCK DTC business (budgeting, forecasting, sales and KPI tracking)
- Coordinate with the Global Brand and Product teams to develop marketing programs and a local revenue-driving product roadmap
- Lead growth marketing including search ads, paid social and email to achieve revenue goals.Onboard a digital marketing agency (as needed)
- Oversee site merchandising to both drive sales and enhance the Blue Bottle brand story
- Build dashboards and conduct ad-hoc analysis to monitor performance (eg, subscription churn, merchandise sales, LTV) to measure the efficacy of marketing, merchandising and product enhancements
- Partner with our Local Guest Experience team to help build an E-comm specific guest support process (ie, managing inquiries related to the site, merchandise, shipping, etc.)
- Prepare monthly presentations highlighting sales, marketing, and other financial results
- Partner with our Supply Chain team to demand plan and continuously improve processes and optimize COGS
- Own the 3PL relationship and help optimize our fulfillment and shipping operations
- Continuously research the e-commerce landscape and competition, identifying trends and growth opportunities

You have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Native in Korean and Business level English proficiency both verbal and written5-8 years of related experience; experience preferably includes product management at a fast-growing e-commerce company in South Korea market.
- Experience in defining and delivering a digital experience to consumers; experience in e-commerce is a plus
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and project management skills
- Extensive experience with Excel, PowerPoint & other data analytics tools (Sigma, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus
- An innate ability to create strong relationships, influence others, and collaborate across levels, functions and geographies
- A profound love of coffee—while not required, it will make your role significantly more delicious!
