Who You Are

Brightwheel is seeking an experienced Director of Systems Operations to join the Revenue Operations team. The Director of System Operations will own our business-critical tech stack empowering our rapidly growing Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to operate efficiently, at scale. This role will oversee and lead a team of architects, developers, and administrators who manage and improve our go-to-market systems including Hubspot, Salesforce, and numerous other integrated tools that deliver on our acquisition and engagement strategies, and deliver a great customer experience. In addition to leading the team, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape the strategy and vision to build the technology and automation we need to achieve our company-level goals. You have 4+ years of experience leading a systems operations team and an additional 3+ years developing in/administering similar systems.

What You'll Do

  • Shape how SysOps grows with the company, including how we use agile methodologies to prioritize across a growing set of internal customers; lead by example as a business partner to senior leaders to align your strategy, prioritization, and resource allocation to their goals.
  • Architect Salesforce and integrated systems to scale with our CX teams, enable our teams to deliver on our acquisition and engagement strategies, and deliver a great customer experience.
  • Partner with DataOps, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to set the strategy for how we optimize our customer and prospect database.
  • Design and build high-quality integrations with systems and apps connected to Salesforce, in close collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure our technical systems meet our solution requirements.
  • Think critically and move fast; drive long-term sustainable scale while acting quickly to deliver on business needs.
  • Drive best practices and efficiency regarding documentation, training materials, and team/user enablement for Salesforce processes and integrated systems.

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities

  • 4+ years building and leading a Business Systems, Enterprise Applications, System Operations or similar development and admin team with 3+ team members utilizing agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years administering, developing, and/or managing enterprise systems.
  • Proven track record of setting strategy and architecting a scalable tech stack to meet a rapidly growing go-to-market team of 100+ Sales, Support, and Customer Success end-users.
  • Proven experience with systems, integrations, and tools utilized for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Operations processes such as Outreach, Intercom, and Hubspot.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders from C-suite to functional leads to enable visibility and prioritization across the entire GTM team’s needs and goals.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communications that “cut through the noise” and help stakeholders understand option set

Brightwheel offers a competitive compensation package (base salary, equity, and benefits) with a strong emphasis on equity-based compensation (ownership in brightwheel). For cash compensation, brightwheel sets standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In alignment with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual cash compensation for this role in Colorado is targeted at $156-194K. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
