Who You Are

Brightwheel is seeking a talented Financial Analyst of Revenue & Growth to join the Finance & Strategy team. You are passionate, highly motivated and will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the company’s topline execution and financial strategy. You are inquisitive and proactive in digging deep into the data to understand the key drivers of our business. You possess strong analytical and communication skills to uncover insights, deliver actionable takeaways and influence data-driven business decisions across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain our revenue model, taking into account new product launches, customer ramp, churn and seasonality
  • Deliver accurate and consistent reporting on key topline metrics (ARR, NRR, etc.) and business drivers (churn, attach rates, etc.) for monthly, quarterly reporting to stakeholder, executive team and investors with insights on variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and drivers are understood and highlighted
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on key company metrics definitions and work with Analytics teams to ensure accuracy, consistency and data integrity for key financial and operating metrics
  • Sift through data and up-level analysis on key topline drivers to deliver actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders to improve customer onboarding, product experience, retention and NPS
  • Answer key business questions on short cycles to rapidly improve decision making

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in investment banking, corporate strategic finance or other relevant analytical and technical roles (start-up experience a plus)
  • Expert in financial modeling and quantitative analysis, proficient in our most relevant tools (Excel, Google Sheets). SQL abilities and experience with data visualization tools a plus!
  • Structured thinker with the ability to frame and reason through sophisticated business problems, even in the face of ambiguity or imperfect information
  • Self-starter who is proactive, intellectually curious, and not afraid to seek out projects independently
  • Team player with the ability to partner cross-functionally in growing organization
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a collaborative mindset and approach to work

Brightwheel offers a competitive compensation package (base salary, equity and benefits) with a strong emphasis on equity-based compensation (ownership in brightwheel). For cash compensation, brightwheel sets standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In alignment with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual cash compensation for this role in Colorado is targeted at $92,000-108,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
