The Opportunity...

The Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Recruiting Specialists and Coordinators, tasked with the full cycle recruiting processes necessary to fill open or

anticipated positions. S/he provides ongoing leadership, coaching, motivation and direction to the

team to establish and promote strategies on talent acquisition projects. The Talent

Acquisition Supervisor works in partnership with Hiring Managers to manage an

active requisition workload as well as manage a pipeline of passive candidates. This

individual is a team player and collaborator who will actively contribute to the evolution of the Talent

Acquisition group.

How You'll Contribute...

  • Lead a team that partners with Hiring Managers to understand the business’ recurring talent needs, and collaborating to build effective sourcing strategies to identify, engage and hire top talent
  • Maintain pipelines of passive and active candidates with the goal of converting them into high potential candidates for suitable open roles
  • Coach, mentor and train team members in acquiring the requisite skills necessary for successfully attaining performance goals, and for personal growth and development
  • Track and analyze recruiting data and metrics to create reports in facilitating Recruiters’ and Hiring Managers’ decision-making on how to optimize recruiting efforts to deliver results
  • Define team and performance goals and driving team to achieve success
  • Manage and facilitate the job posting and subscription process for suitable local job boards
  • Support recruiting related activities as required

What We're Looking For...

  • Minimum 5 years’ Talent Acquisition experience with at least 2 years’ experience leading a team with direct reports; preferably in a large corporate setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of recruiting and operations practices
  • Strong customer focus and emphasis on developing and maintaining successful working relationships at all levels
  • Internet savvy and technical ability to utilize applicant tracking systems and internet tools to support direct sourcing methods
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
