The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruiting best in class active and passive candidates across multiple levels but specializing in junior to mid-level positions across the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with HR, Hiring Managers and the leadership team with driving quality hires throughout the organization.
Support full-life cycle recruitment needs for the business including direct sourcing techniques, consultative skills, and compensation, ensuring that every stage from creation of the initial staff requisition to final appointment is carried out in accordance with global operating procedures and adheres to best practice principles.
Proactively manage candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities and ensure a strong positive client and candidate experience.
Evaluate candidate backgrounds to match core competencies with key hiring requirements and assess motivational fit. Utilize appropriate selection techniques and present qualified list of pre-screened candidates to hiring manager.
Perform thorough research and industry calibration to identify quality passive targets for current and future opportunities.
Proactively source and directly engage active and passive candidates through innovative tactics and channels including internal and external networking, research and active utilization of professional associations, social networks, and online resources.
Conduct interviews to capture comprehensive assessment of candidate’s suitability for current and future for talent needs
Minimum 1 year proven success in sourcing talent in a high-volume, fast paced environment
Associate Degree in Business Administration or related studies
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and social media/networking sites
Possess a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation
Possess the mentality to profile and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation
Have a keen understanding of the market place and be a creative thinker
Have a solid ability to build relationships and be a self-starter
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Strong multi-tasking skills
Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness are critical
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make swift, sound judgments and offering solutions
Must be confidential and tactful
