About the Role

This opportunity is for engineers who have experience with Python to design, build and maintain our data processing infrastructure. This infrastructure is responsible for processing the audio data both in real-time and in some cases post-call. Designing a system to process data in real-time is complex when your request durations are measured in hours and simple algorithms like round- robin no longer cut it for load balancing. Python is the language of choice when machine learning is key to your data processing. You will be owning [design + build + monitor] infrastructure that uses frameworks like tensor- flow / PyTorch to build offline and online systems that process audio into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire product lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience with Python
• Strong understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithms
• Experience with web applications and their architectures
• Familiarity with these concepts/systems is a plus: no-sql databases [e.g. mongoDB], Machine learning frameworks [tensor-flow, PyTorch],, container management [docker, kubernetes], Monitoring [prometheus, grafana]
