Clarify is looking for a Senior Product Manager within our Product team to build and deliver high impact products used by healthcare provider and payer customers. This position is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of the healthcare space and background in consulting, product management, and/or healthcare data analysis experience who is looking to scale their impact within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, mission-driven environment.

In this role, you will be translating market and business needs into the development of cutting-edge healthcare analytics products that help providers and payers actively lower cost, increase quality, and grow market share. This role requires a creative problem-solver who has strong analytical and cross- functional collaboration skills who can bring strong critical thinking and innovative ideas to help solve some of healthcare’s biggest challenges.

The Role:

  • Drive new product feature development from concept to release and support
  • Oversee requirements gathering, clearly defining business, user, and functional requirements, across a range of stakeholders
  • Support product release planning, data validation, and QA testing
  • Be the expert on how features work together across the platform to bring value to customers
  • Prioritize work with commercial and technical stakeholders and manage trade-offs
  • Research the external landscape and participate in expert interviews to inform business requirements and build a differentiated offering
  • Collaborate with engineering and design team to deliver a high caliber product with reasonable development effort
  • Work closely with our client-facing teams and customers to explain existing features and understand new requirements
  • Make major contributions to on-going solution development and design, including new program design and configurations, based on mastery of product capabilities
  • Translate customer insights and associated program analyses into specific new product solutions or enhancements
  • Coordinate with broader solution team and company leadership on behalf of the product team, identifying and tackling cross-functional challenges and opportunities
  • Proactively make recommendations for how to prioritize or solution for various business needs
  • Support design of front-end reporting collateral leveraging customer feedback and A/B testing
  • Develop detailed and comprehensive test cases to help ensure new product/features have been vetted and are ready for release
  • Lead cross-functional teams in conducting user testing, defect tracking and management
  • Superior attention to detail, understanding how detailed configurations, logic, or requirement map support larger outputs or big picture strategies

What we are looking for:

  • We are looking for passionate, ambitious, mission-driven individuals who want to use their talents to drive impact at scale. In particular, the Senior Product Manager will have:
  • Passion for Clarify’s mission and making a difference in healthcare
  • 5-7 years of experience in client services at a health care management consulting firm or product company
  • Highly proficient at Excel, PPT, Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience delegating effectively to and coaching others, identifying specific opportunity for growth
  • Active listener, capable of asking the right questions to better understand others’ needs and motivations
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work products, including data analysis, strategy development, operations or process improvement, etc.
  • Excellent project management, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Exposure to value-based care and payment innovation, including new risk-based payment and delivery reforms

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with payer/provider customers
  • Experience with claims/clinical/lab data
  • Domain knowledge related to population health management, utilization management, value-based care, and provider performance evaluation
  • Python, SQL or other relevant analytics ability preferred
  • MBA, MPH, MHA or other relevant grad degree preferred
