Clarify is looking for a Solutions Director to focus on driving business development success, working alongside the Sales team to uncover customers’ business challenges, and showcase solutions. You will become an expert of Clarify’s differentiation and value, ultimately responsible for demonstrating the differentiated value of Clarify’s insights platform to executive team members. You will also drive end-to-end support for complex deals, including building important customer relationships.

The Role

  • Enabling commercial activities for the Payor businesses by:
  • Supporting sales conversations as an SME, including bringing healthcare and software / analytics expertise (e.g., clinical expertise, Medicare/regulatory knowledge, SaaS analytics experience)
  • Identifying potential challenges and blockers to complex deals and driving solutions to resolve
  • Designing, scripting, and delivering demos for sales meetings
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to influence compelling collateral messaging for the solution including contributing to blogs, white papers and conference attendance
  • Supporting qualification and scoping/timeline of customer delivery to ensure product fit to customer needs
  • Serve as a critical voice of the customer to provide input to the Strategy and Product team
  • Contribute to ROI strategies for prospective customers
  • Partner with Product during the pre-sale phase to shape and scope any new areas that are not part of our ‘in-the-box’ solution
  • Actively serving as a thought leader for Clarify products externally (e.g., work with Marketing to publish articles and blog posts, host webinars, attend and speak at conferences)
  • Actively use payer and healthcare industry business background to fluently translate market analytics gaps to Clarify product use cases

What we are looking for

  • At least 5-10 years’ experience across the Payer industry
  • Deep understanding of the challenges faced by payers and providers, including fluency in value-based care priorities
  • Data, analytics, and software experience in healthcare
  • Past experience in a sales enablement capacity a plus (e.g., demos, solution architect role, serving as an SME in sales meetings)
  • Thrives in a dynamic start-up environment with change and ambiguity
  • Willing to travel up to 25% once pandemic restrictions end
