About The Role

  • Serve as point-person for all training and development of sales staff globally, especially colleagues in the Business Development and Inside Sales role families
  • Authoring sales playbooks, leveraging them for training, and keeping them updated.
  • Design and execute a Sales Knowledge Library equipped with marketing, training, onboarding, sales-readiness, sales efficiency materials and playbooks. Identifies, develops, syndicates and implements best practices across the sales teams.
  • Establish a global Sales Onboarding document. Uses the document to onboard every new seller.
  • Establish a comprehensive Sales-Readiness Training Document. Executes against the plans to get every salesperson ready for selling.
  • Establish a roadmap for Sales Efficiencies focused on tools, processes and business planning.
  • Establish a roadmap for Sales Retention (keeps sales reps incentivized, works to fight against attrition, architects career progressions, contributes to Sales Recognition Program, etc.)
  • Organizes annual Sales Kick Off
  • Make recommendations for new training commensurate with Coalition’s growth plans.
  • Leads training, script development, objection handling, Q&A and other curriculum development for existing and new products. Quickly becomes the SME for new product launches, identifies issues with speed to market, and iterates approaches to solve market challenges.
  • Stays in tune with the Salesforce (and CRM Ecosystem) Implementation Roadmap, list of Salesforce Enhancement Projects, and looks for training opportunities.
  • Designs and leverages a Sales Performance Improvement Plan for individuals not meeting their targets in a given period of time
  • Establishes a portfolio of external expert speakers that can be brought into the fold in key events (e.g. Sales Kick Off, etc.)
  • Leads biweekly Product/BD sync conversation. Represents the “Voice of the BD” in Coalition product design, enabling technology to make business developers and Inside Sales more efficient.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of direct-selling experience, and/or Sales Enablement, Sales Training & Development experience.
  • Develop elegant presentations for training, QBR readouts, playbooks, etc.
  • Head of the Classroom presence. Conducts Training in-person and virtually.
  • Has a penchant for designing the “How” to go with the “What” in a sales context.
  • Project management /Event Management skills for sales related events (e.g. Sales Kick Off, Sales Bootcamp, etc)
  • Google Suite experience
  • Demonstrated experience in being a self-starter and being resourceful
  • Stellar relationship builder: great communication and customer orientation skills
