We are looking to hire an experienced CI/CD Engineer to own, improve, and
maintain the build and deployment pipeline of our web and mobile applications.
Reporting directly to our Director of Engineering, you will help ensure that
we have an efficient, automated CI/CD pipeline allowing our development and
production deployments to be performed predictably and reliably.
You will...
- Work closely with the engineering team to develop and continually improve the CI/CD pipeline, tools, and processes for cloud and mobile app deployments
- Develop architecture standards and best practices for CI/CD pipeline developments to various environments (development, QA, staging, production), including best branching practices
- Collaborate with internal development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end deployment quality
- Anticipate and plan for organizational and engineering impact related to CI/CD pipeline changes
- Evaluate and recommend potential new and/or improved technologies to help facilitate CI/CD pipeline execution and efficiency
- Write and maintain CI/CD pipeline design and usage documentation
You have...
- Several years of experience handling all aspects of CI/CD pipelines for large, user-facing web and mobile applications
- Hands-on experience with creating iOS and Android mobile build automation from scratch
- Deep experience working with build and deployment management tools such as Jenkins, Circle CI, Github Actions, Travis CI, etc… (we currently use Github Actions at connectRN)
- Practical programming skills with mastery of one or more programming languages
- Experience with Go or Python is a plus
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure used to deploy and host web applications
- Experience with integrating various build and deployment tools with AWS services
- Thorough understanding of mobile app build and publishing processes using tools such as AWS Amplify and TestFlight
- Hands-on experience with automating the submission of mobile apps to the Apple and Google app stores for approval and publishing
- Ability to learn and teach a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
