About the Position
As a member of the Contrast Security engineering team, you will join a group responsible for industry leading Application Security products. Our team includes engineers, designers, security researchers and product managers, all focused on making the Internet safer for everyone. We believe in agile practices to build our software, as well as continuously delivering features and improvements to our users. You are a person who is always pushing your teammates to do their best work and intolerant of anything else. Our team believes that a successful product is built by working with designers, product managers, and operators to understand the full cycle of software development.
We are seeking an individual with a strong mix of forensic engineering and enterprise development experience to triage and fix complex issues exhibited by our customers within our software agents, cloud application services and on-premise product offerings. The Escalation and Sustaining Engineering team acts as a bridge between our Support Organization and our Engineering team. Ideal candidates have spent part of their career in a customer-facing technical support role, as well as been a part of the delivery of a SaaS or Commercial/Enterprise software platform.
The role of the Escalation and Sustaining Engineering team involves a balance of forensic troubleshooting, code profiling, reverse engineering, application security analysis and code refactoring. The number one goal of this team is to improve the customer experience on the Contrast Platform by reducing the amount of time a customer waits between identifying an issue to the time to remediate the issue. You will have the opportunity to work on several of the Contrast products, ranging from our Full Stack TeamServer application written in Java/GraphQL/React to our language based Contrast IAST instrumentation agents (Java, .NET, NodeJS, Ruby, Python and GoLang) and Contrast SAST tool (written in Kotlin and Java).
We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you’re excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply.
