Curology is creating the next generation of skincare through customized
treatment plans and formulas with powerful prescription ingredients for acne

We’re looking for a versatile copywriter to join a tight group of creatives on
our in-house Brand Studio team. We need your help to tell Curology’s story to
the world—strengthening our brand integrity, building trust with customers,
and delivering work that inspires readers to take action.
As a copywriter at Curology, you’ll contribute to a wide variety of projects,
ranging from emails, blogs, and social posts to websites, product launch
campaigns, and more. Of course, you won’t do it alone—you’ll collaborate with
creative directors, designers, and copywriters, while also balancing the needs
of cross-functional teams, like integrated marketing, product development, and
lifecycle to help bring our brand to life at every touchpoint.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with designers and art directors to bring brand initiatives to life, including concepting new integrated campaigns
- Channel our distinctive brand voice across a variety of mediums, specifically long-form and social media content
- Manage multiple projects both simultaneously and independently, while working cross-functionally with partners to develop solutions
- Address ambiguity effectively by initiating timely creative solves
- Write with the consumer at the forefront of your mind, understanding their wants, needs, and motivations at every stage of the funnel
- Uphold the existing brand positioning and voice through a ruthless dedication to guidelines, while still innovating and evolving the brand over time
- Ensure legal compliance by working closely with members of the medical and legal departments to fine-tune all copy
What we’re looking for:
- 2-4 years of experience as an in-house or agency copywriter
- Solid portfolio of work that displays your creative problem-solving skills—impactful headlines, well-written copy, and the ability to iterate across a variety of tactics
- Strong storyteller with the ability to develop work that grab and keep audiences’ ever-shrinking attention
- Entrepreneurial-minded creative looking to work as part of creative team to build a next-gen skincare brand that people will love
- Word worshiper who catches everything from small grammatical errors to slips in our brand voice
- Pop culture aficionado who draws on trends and industry best practices to better understand, support, and motivate consumers
- Excellent communicator, whether collaborating with a creative partner or developing iterative solutions with stakeholders
- Organized and deadline-driven
- On most days, people consider you a nice human
- Understanding of DTC, CPG, skincare, or beauty a plus
- Previous work alongside account executives, strategists, or planners also a plus
