As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer at Curology, you help support the
infrastructure that makes our systems work more efficiently and effectively in
order to help hundreds of thousands of patients receive their personalized
formulas every day. You’re the expert at creating highly-available systems and
planning for scale as we continue to grow. You proactively propose solutions
and improvements to ensure that our infrastructure is always running at peak
efficiency. You work with everyone from the technical side to the operations
side with endless opportunities to take on responsibility, mentor and continue
learning.
In this role, you will:
- Proactively help us continue scaling facility and fulfillment capabilities to support growth initiatives & facility networks and provide network support
- Create and maintain infrastructure standards, procedures, architecture and troubleshooting documentation for the managed environments
- Partner with Product and Fulfillment teams to enable new technologies
- Provide assistance to fulfillment workforce with daily technical support
- Own general maintenance, such as patching servers and updating firmware
- Jump in as needed, wearing multiple hats and cross-training with the team
You may be successful if you have 5+ years of systems engineering
experience with:
- Microsoft Operating Systems
- Apple and MacOS operating systems
- Supporting Networks and Printers
- LAN/WAN/Cloud network technologies
- IT security concepts, vulnerability assessment and remediation
- Domain Name management technologies (AD/DNS)
- Multiple scripting technologies with a focus towards automation
- GCP/Azure/AWS managing systems in a cloud/multi-tenant environment
Competency & Skills
- Been being a member of on-call support team
- Handle required wiring installations, maintenance, and supports equipment hardware and software installations
- Thrived in a collaborative environment, pairing on work and picking up a variety of responsibilities
- Effectively communicates ideas and information to peers, management and customers
- Adaptable to changing priorities and understanding diverse stakeholder’s infrastructure needs
- Desire to empathetically share and receive feedback and knowledge to help everyone continue to improve.
Physical Characteristics of Work Environment:
- Must lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
- Travel requirements: Occasional travel requirements to office or offsite locations
