As an IAM Okta Security Engineer at Curology, you lead the designing,
implementation and maintenance of the IAM technologies that enables our users
to access needed applications, allowing them to work more efficiently and
effectively. You are the expert at engineering and integrating SaaS solutions.
You will provide technical expertise for directory services, SaaS management,
privileged access management, single sign-on, password management and multi-
factor authentication. You proactively propose solutions and improvements to
ensure that our IAM solution is driving value from our IAM roadmap.
In this role, you will:
- Design, engineer and deploy IAM related technologies
- Provide guidance to IT partners on configuration, debugging, and deployment of tools requiring IAM integration
- Identify opportunities to optimize IAM environment and provide recommendations on improvements
- Assist with developing policies and procedures for supporting applications
- Assist with planning and scoping of IT and Security initiatives as they relate to IAM
- Provide support on operational issues
- Leverage various tools and custom scripts to monitor the operational status of IAM environment
- Create and maintain documentation for problems and works with vendors on resolutions
- Prioritize tasks and track progress with minimal supervision and guidance
You may be successful if you have:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience with the development and support of SSO, SAML, and OAuth protocols
- Experience with and knowledge of APIs
- Administration experience with Google Workspace, Okta, Zoom, Active Directory, AWS, and other cloud applications
- Knowledge of IAM concepts including employee lifecycle management, provisioning, security and governance
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of issues
- Bonus: experience with scripting (Python, Javascript, etc.)
