The Curology team prides itself on creating delightful experiences for our customers at every touchpoint. We’re looking for a Packaging Development Sr. Associate or Manager who is passionate about delivering the best customer experience in regards to packaging. As a critical member of the Product Development team you will lead all (primary, secondary, tertiary) packaging development and execution from concept to launch.

What you'll do:

• Manage packaging development, innovation, sustainability initiatives and quality standards for your projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners regarding timelines, costs, MOQ, and packaging design and functionality
• Improve and optimize the quality and performance of existing core products
• Review technical specs (2D and 3D) to develop both stock and custom packaging
• Build packaging quality guidelines & workflow processes as we continue to expand the team
• Partner with Creative team on component design & decoration
• Lead cross functional team meetings with leadership to gain sample feedback
• Meet tooling and launch deadlines while meeting or exceeding margin targets
• Survey competitive landscape to develop best-in-class products
• Request, follow-up and distribute samples in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
• Work with external industrial design / branding agencies for future launches

What we're looking for:

• Sr. Associate, 2+ years of experience
• Manager, 4+ years of experience
• BA / BS in Industrial Design / Packaging Engineer or equivalent practical experience
• Beauty or Skincare experience
• An understanding of vendors and contract manufacturers in the industry
• Passionate about Skincare, Cosmetics & Packaging
• Ability to quickly translate design direction into design solutions.
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically with exceptional attention to detail
• An understanding in prototyping and manufacturing methods
• A desire to keep up to date with innovation trends, industry trends, and design trends
• Some future travel may be required
