Role Summary: Guidewire Cloud Program Managers (GCPM) are assigned to manage the Guidewire Cloud project. GCPM role is a GO-TO person about the overall program status and tasks for all internal stakeholders within Guidewire such as Tech Leads, Cloud Operation, Delivery Services (Delivery Managers/Cloud Assurance/Cloud Transition Practice), Product Development, Customer Success and others in Guidewire and external stakeholders including customers.
GCPM is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and inventories of tasks within the Cloud program, chasing task owners to proceed forward, and sharing the project status regularly in a Japanese business format. The role requires effective coordination for such activities of multiple stakeholders across different departments and cultures. The proactive problem-solving behavior including oversight of any risks and issues arising is necessary.
GCPM is also responsible to provide such visibility in both written and verbal communication appropriately.
The ideal candidate will be well versed in agile implementation methodologies and enterprise-scale implementations and be able to deliver projects that combined those qualities.
The job location is in Japan and supports Guidewire Cloud customers in Japan. Japanese language, both written and verbal, is required for this role.
