InsuranceNow is an enterprise all-in-one core, digital and data analytics system providing comprehensive solutions for insurance companies to help them manage and automate underwriting, claims handling and billing functions.

Your team builds software that lets non-programmers customize InsuranceNow to meet the unique requirements of customer’s insurance offerings.

What you would do

• Be part of a small empowered team to successful delivery of product releases.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers and Architects to define product features, functions, and design.
• Work with Team Lead and Product Managers team to define sprints and perform agile ceremonies.
• Create prototypes to analyze engineering feasibility and evaluate user interface designs.
• Define and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Automated Testing pipelines.
• Own, diagnose and resolve code defects.

What you would need to succeed

• Proficiency with building and deploying state-of-the-art single page web client applications using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the above areas.
• Experience and confidence contributing to product and software design, and implementation.
• Experience writing unit tests and testable components.
• Experience building automation scripts and tools to support the CI & CD pipeline.
• Experienced in design patterns and best coding practices.
• Experience working in an Agile work environment and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical communication skills.
• BS/MS degree (Computer Science) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning of new technologies that can be applied to improving the product.

Bonus Skills

• Experience developing applications deployed using public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of authentication, role-based access control (authorization), web application security.
• Experience with Node.js and server-side JavaScript (e.g. Express).
• Server-side Java development

If you don’t have any background in insurance domain, please don’t worry. We already have lot of folks with insurance domain knowledge, and they will collaborate with you to bring to bear the best of your skills., while you ramp up on insurance domain knowledge
