Guidewire Software’s Global Physical Security & Safety team is looking for a
Global Security Operations Manager – APAC Region, who will be responsible for
security operations of Guidewire’s APACregion’s offices, as well as acting as
a strategic global projects team member. This is an exciting role as Guidewire
designs a contemporary physical security program to support work from “almost”
anywhere.
The position reports to the Director, Global Physical Security & Safety, and
is an on-site (not Remote) position working at Guidewire’s new office in
Bengaluru, India.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day security operations for Guidewire’s offices across the APAC region
- Conduct site security assessments, and coordination of security support for corporate events in APAC, including office locations
- Vendor relationship management of contract guard force services, including writing Requests for Information/Proposals, submitted proposal evaluation and establishing contract guard force services performance metrics
- Closely collaborate with the APAC region Facilities team, ensuring customer service to employees is at the center of all procedures and processes
- Resolve issues via clear and concise communication and using multiple applications – service ticketing, email, instant messaging, telephone/SMS, and in-person
- Develop, manage and train employees on APAC emergency response plans (remote/in-office)
- Conduct policy and standards compliance checks and enforcement (Internal, Local, National and International regulations)
- Partner with HR, Legal and Workplace to resolve safety and security incidents
- Work with Director Global Phys. Security & Safety to design and manage world-class enterprise-wide safety and security programs, policies, and procedures
- Maintain and track program performance statistics, KPIs, etc.
- Conduct investigations using internal systems and interview people
- Ability to see long term vision of safety and security strategy and programs
- Along with the Global Security Technology Manager and team, manage and work with security technology vendors locally
Basic Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience managing contract guard services, physical security applications and systems, event security management, environmental health & safety, security program implementation, and emergency management
- Experience managing people and processes
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, primarily around the APAC region.
- Availability to support after hours as needed
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and leading physical security programs in the technology industry
- Strong background in developing security programs and event security management
- End-user experience with AMAG Symmetry access control, Avigilon ACC CCTV, and/or other physical security systems
Professional Certifications including:
- ISMI Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP)
- ASIS International Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- Project Management Inst. Project Management Professional (PMP)
