Employment Type: Full-time
Team: Product Development Operations
The role is to be the Product Owner for Jira Service Management (JSM), playing an active role in the investigation and proposal of new features and working with stakeholders to drive the adoption of JSM across the Product Development Operations (PDO) organisation and other stakeholder groups within Guidewire.
As a Product Owner you will organize, prioritize, and assess work for the JSM scrum team. The responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases, and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify business needs across a variety of internal stakeholder teams. Ultimately, you’ll help us roll-out new features that deliver our company’s vision for JSM as a key service management solution.
You will be part of the Service Management Office team working in partnership with the service practice owners to buildout the functionality of JSM. Your key stakeholders and teams are based across India, the U.S and Europe
Please note that since primary stakeholders are based in San Francisco whilst the key developers are based in India, we seek a professional who is flexible with working in the evening a few times per week (as agreed upon with the hiring manager).
