Your day-to-day:

  • Working independently but also collaboratively with fellow designers and researchers
  • Building bridges between different functions (e.g., product management, engineering, technical writers, services, etc.) to define and prioritize problems to be solved and requirements
  • Planning and running workshops and design sprints to engage with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Applying design principles to map out complex processes and journeys involving multiple personas
  • Iterating design, developing design solutions from requirements, incorporating feedback from shareholders, and applying analytics and user research findings
  • Crafting and specifying the user interface to production quality

What you need to be successful:

  • A design portfolio that demonstrates a human-centered design process and business success
  • Strong past experience as user experience design, interaction design, and user research experience in enterprise and complex business processes, insurance domain preferred
  • Keen interest and experience in designing tools for software developers, ability to empathize with development roles, and coding experience a big plus
  • Proven experience in planning, executing and synthesizing research, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Experience with design and collaborative tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Miro, Invision, etc.,
  • Experience working with design systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
