With Guidewire`s continued growth, we are excited to open a brand-new position as part of our Business Strategy & Solutions group. This role will work closely with several key teams and functions here at Guidewire within Delivery Services; Business Operations, Resource Management, Consulting Management, Finance and Legal. As our global customer demand increases, how we operationalize, plan and coordinate activities for the strategic allocation and redeployment of our people becomes more critical. This new role is essential to both enabling and accelerating our efficiency and productivity as it relates to our partner resources within Guidewire’s eco-system. The Ideal candidate is a self-starter with attention to detail and a keen eye for process control, data integrity, and precise execution. Under the guidance of Business Operations & the Resource Management Office, the Resource Operations Associate is responsible for the effective management of our partner resource processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with staffing managers to identify candidate(s) for requests and mobilize resource(s) to project team
  • Responsible for the administrative management of a global group of functional and technical consultants
  • Create contracts and purchase orders for partner companies
  • Receive, record, and analyze volume of requests (onboarding/off-boarding, extensions etc.)
  • Work with HR Operations & IT departments to ensure onboarding efficiency
  • Manage the setup of new partner resources to Guidewire
  • Ensure credentials, systems access and passwords are shared in a timely fashion
  • Monitor and govern our Time and Expense policies as required
  • Evaluate the possibility of and execute upon extensions to work end dates
  • Produce and maintain subcontractor process documents
  • Request and deliver feedback on resources where necessary
  • Adhere to our core principles of integrity, rationality, and collegiality

Key skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant experience in Business Operations
  • An understanding of professional services and cross-functional/matrix delivery structures
  • Business analytics/reporting skills
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Visio) Strong Proficiency Preferred
  • Salesforce, FinancalForce, Coupa and SharePoint experience preferred
  • Some background in invoicing, billing, and/or financial analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with both internal and external customer facing activities
  • The ability to read and interpret contractual language with regards to project set-up details (i.e., rates, start and end dates, expense policies, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks and to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills
  • Flexibility around working hours (Guidewire is a global virtually connected company)
