We are looking for a proactive, outcome-focused Project Manager. You will be our team's site leader and help mature our day-to-day practices.

The Role

Our Dublin team meets growing, global customer demand for expertise in running Guidewire’s products in the cloud. As a Senior Project Manager, you will work with new and existing customers to address their production needs. This will involve leading global development and testing teams in a customer-facing role to ensure successful project delivery of production-ready code.

We want you to foster a successful relationship with Guidewire customers and partners. Maintain our customer's delivery pipeline in a production environment. Help us enforce a consistent approach to delivery for cloud customers.

Expectations

• Develop successful relationships with Guidewire customers and partners, working proactively with them to build a consistent delivery pipeline for their future work.
• Effectively communicate delivery status and capacity for multiple audiences.
• Be an escalation point of major issues and help resolve these in a timely fashion.
• Lead meetings, coach team members, create & maintain project critical metrics.
• Develop & maintain a consistent approach to project delivery across multiple customers.
• Work with the wider team to identify and drive improvements.
• Use software such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project.
• Occasionally travel to other sites, Guidewire or Customer.

Required skills/experience

• Very strong communication skills enabling you to work well in fast-paced projects across all levels of the organization in Business and IT areas.
• Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies to ensure release delivery, controls, issue resolution, risk mitigation, etc.
• Experience working with people across multiple geographies.
• Strong ability to lead a team
• Working with implementation partners and running multi-functional projects, including software package implementations and information architecture.
• Technical Background, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Excellent negotiation skills within challenging situations across both Fixed-Price and T&M.

• Vendor Management experience
